padAnne Bouji

Anne was born and lived in a small mining community in the North-East of England until she began her Bookselling career, which has panned over 30 years and has taken her all over the world. To Anne home is where she lays her head and Bookselling has given her homes in her native Durham, Scotland, Papua New Guinea and the Sultanate of Oman. She also has a home in Beirut, which as yet is unlived in, but is there for the future when Lebanon will become her final home with her husband, when their globe trotting ceases.

It was only when Anne left her family home that she discovered that she enjoyed cooking and entertaining friends, something that became very important to her as a single woman living abroad.

Whilst living and working in Oman, she met her husband, Simon, and it was through him and his family that she developed a love of Lebanese Cuisine.

Extensive business travel has introduced Anne to some of the world's finest culinary delights, and her marriage to a Lebanese who is passionate about food, has resulted in the publication of The Way To A Man's Heart.

Hopefully you will find it useful and that you too might also come to enjoy and love what is truly very healthy food.

As her husband's passion is food, Anne's passions are books, reading, animals and holistic therapies. She is a Reiki master and also practices aromatherapy massage and the use of Bach Flower remedies.

Some other titles written by Anne include
