Bakhoor is best when it is homemade and our bakhoors ares just that. A fragrance each in its own right, these bakhoors are largely created using traditional ingredients and methods from the region of Dhofar , Oman which is very famous for their wide array of blends and aromas.

Please note that while our prices and weights vary, the size of the container does not.  The container used for all of these bakhoors has a circumference of 24.5 cms, diameter measures 7 cms and the depth measures 3.5 cms. 

The weights fluctuate as they do because of moisture content for the most part but overall, spoon by spoon, each container has the same measurement in it, regardless of weight.  Quite simply, the drier and more "airy" the bakhoor is, the less it weighs.

As you probably already know, the real reason for the various prices has much more to do with the contents used in each ingredient. However, prices are very much set by the creator of each bakhoor, rightfully so.

Please note that if you reorder a bakhoor you may found slight variations in the smell from one order to the next.  There are many reasons for this. Among them, the batch may not be as fresh or perhaps it is fresher than your previous purchase.  Another reason can be because the maker of the bakhoor has changed a supplier or two on ingredients.  We have made bakhoor ourselves and find it difficult to get exactly the same products, same grade, from the same suppliers from time to time and these subtle changes do have an impact on aroma.  So tolerance is required!
