The Family Bookshop has been in Oman since 1972 and was the very first bookshop in the country. It has earned an unrivaled reputation and is the first store one thinks about when in need of a book, newspaper or magazine, regardless of language. 

Daily papers and magazines are available in a variety of languages including Arabic, English, German and French, as well as magazines in Dutch.

The Family Bookshop has a most impressive list of locations. In Oman they are located in Madinat Al Sultan Qaboos, Qurum, Rusayl and Ruwi. Around the world you will find the company headquartered in Cyprus with branches extending to Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and, of course, Oman.

The Family Bookshop has a wide variety of titles including paperback books, both new releases and best sellers. Children's titles are in abundance at the bookshop as are titles on cookery, crafts, sports, alternative therapies, and ELT textbooks and references can also be found.
