About this location: When you exit Mughsayl beach area where the fantastic blow holes and bluffs are, you can turn left and drive up into the mountains that disappear into the clouds.  This is the road that takes the traveller all the way to Dalkhut, Rakhyut and further, all the way to Yemen if one chooses. 

We only ventured as far as to the clouds (which is to say we drove up the mountain!) which was a 5 kilometer trip on a fantastic winding road which is rumored to have cost $100,000,000 when it was built.  Mind you this wandering, winding, twisting and turning trail is a single lane in each direction with shoulders and safety measures to prevent the car whose lost control from plunging to the great depths below of unfriendly jagged rock.  This is a fantastic terrain but not one that you want to hurry the drive through nor one you want to venture with bad brakes!  The full length of this road is nearly 150 kilometers long and only experiencing the first five kilometers, it's no wonder it cost what it did!
