The Times of Oman is the oldest English-language newspaper in the Sultanate. Founded in February 1975 as a weekly news tabloid, the Times became a broad-sheet daily newspaper in 1990. Now, with a daily circulation of more than 21,000, it lives up to its slogan: the first and foremost English-language daily in the Sultanate.

The Leisure section in an eight-page tabloid pullout issued free along with the main edition. It provides the reader with the latest developments in fashion, lifestyles, movies and health care, along with other light and stimulating reading material.

Available on Thursdays is the “Thursday” family magazine issued free with the main edition and containing 54 pages.

Our Business section is a daily four page section covering local business and keeps the reader abreast of global market and financial developments. It makes good business sense among the business-minded people in Oman.

Times Sport provides daily, in depth and the latest coverage of local and international sports and games. However late the news is, Times Sport is there to scoop it up and deliver it to the readers — the very next day.
